President's Message

My minds just wander back that the seat I am occupying now was once adorned by great people like Prof.Balagopal Raju, Prof.A.Parthasarathy, and legends of Pediatrics. Though I feel elated, a tiny fear creeps in when I wonder do I truly deserve this. But then the events happen as God wishes. I have now been designated this job and I should get inspired by these great people’s work & travel accordingly so that my work inspires the coming generation.

When I think of my job as President this year, my mind wonders about my contribution as Paediatrician to the Community which has provided me everything I wanted. Hence, my focus is going to be “Community Pediatrics“. Adopting villages, Awareness creation, low-cost treatment, Charity work, Immunization drive, infectious disease prevention modalities.
Every child is born in this world without any prebuilt characters. They develop as they grow. Most adolescents are groomed without proper guidance. They are influenced by the media and society and are carried away. Hence “ Parental awareness” is going to be a key project for IAPTNSC this year.
Strengthening our organization is another area of our vision. “ Progressive Membership development “ and as well non academic care for our members in areas such as personal fitness, communication skills, money matters, relaxing corners to burst their stress shall be my other key domains.
We are planning to improve the life of the Student Community - Stress-free learning, Helping to go for “ Research activities “ by providing some help to get the required funding and as well to get some intensive clinical training.
District branches are grassroots for the development of IAPTNSC. So we are going to concentrate on the training of the office bearers, guiding them to carry out state & central IAP academic activities.
With the support of my team & able guidance from all the experienced and esteemed honorable members, I am sure we will make a positive impact this year.

Honorary Secretary's Message
Dear Seniors and Friends,
Greetings!
I am overwhelmed and feel blessed to be chosen as the Secretary of our esteemed organization for 2023 & 2024. I am thankful for the confidence shown by you and for bestowing this honor upon me. During my tenure as Joint Secretary and as AAA, we have handled the difficult situation arising out of the global pandemic lockdown aplomb, predominantly on the virtual platform and also in physical events when the opportunity arose, such as Pudhuvai Pedicon 2021 and Madurai Pedicon 2022. Thanks to the incredible efforts of every one of us, we bagged the best branch award in 2022. The icing on the cake was IAP Chennai and IAP Trichy winning the best branch awards in their respective categories.
I would like to thank my Presidents Dr. Aram Chenthil, Dr. M. Ismail, Dr. B. Ramesh Babu and other Core Committee members of the past 3 years Dr. Suresh Balan, Dr. K. Rajendran, Dr. Gopal, Dr. Ilamurugan, Dr. Annamalai Vijaraghavan, and Central and State EB members for the trust shown by them and their unwavering support.
I can proudly say that in the past few years, the profile of IAP TNSC has grown tremendously and has become a professional body of repute whose inputs are valued by the Government and the people.
I am looking forward to work with the highly motivated Team 2023 led by Prof. Suresh Balan, ably supported by Prof. Balasankar, Prof. Ramesh Babu and Dr. R.V. Dhakshayani along with others. The Presidential Action Plan 2023 is unique and will benefit everyone.
Let me conclude by pledging that I will work hard and strive to expand the glory of IAP TNSC. Please join hands with me in the quest to make IAP TNSC a professionally relevant highly reputed Academic Institution.

Greetings from the Treasurer of IAP TNSC, it is indeed a proud and privileged occasion to pen down the feelings as the treasurer of this prestigious organization. Even though the pandemic has affected all our activities in person, we could achieve a lot by Virtual platform.
Membership development is high on the list. Our Mantra should be Each one Catch one. New branches have come up, I congratulate the new branch office bearers on this occasion. We need to focus on improving our monetary status also. I think if we can think of IAP as a family we can achieve more.
As I m writing this I am reminded of the words," Write what you know and that should leave you with a lot of free time."
I thank each and every member of IAP TNSC for giving me an opportunity to serve this great organization. My thanks to all my teachers, friends, and my family for their support and well wishes.
